Back to Neocities!

Update: Sunday, 26th October 2025 - The move back to Neocities is fully complete! Hooray!

Yay I'm back on Neocities!

Few months ago a pal gifted me some PHP hosting and the domain scott.itsasite.uk. Really appreciate it but... I just prefer Neocities, not really fussed about having a "special domain name", and have everything I need here on NC! So while I am extremely grateful to my pal, I'm happily moving everything back here to Neocities and plan on letting the PHP hosting go.

In the end always been Neocities... Neocities forever!

Progress

• Made and implemented a new system for separating my pages from my template. This could be a good blog entry/download at some point *adds to ideas list*
• All projects have been transferred across, with the exception of Superdeb! and Plant, which now reside on itch.io
• Pages now use the "index.html" inside directory approach, meaning page/blog entry assets can reside in that directory
• Re-enabled Goatcounter stats, well, on the main site and blog anyway. It's considered pretty privacy friendly and just gives me an idea of if anyone's visiting the site and what they're visiting
• The breadcrumb is now at the top of the page rather than in the sidebar
• Ported over many pages, including all blog entries. I still need to port over lots of video pages
• Rather than imlemented a Disqus-like comment system, I've opted just to link the Guestbook in blog entries and elsewhere. I actually like the simplicity of this
• Added the Fine Art, Polls and Personality Tests pages (idk why I never thought of that before)
